Christchurch Casino is the city's premier entertainment venue, providing not only the only casino in the region, but also live music, restaurants and events for the local and tourist markets.

As a cornerstone tourism operator, Christchurch Casino has a busy in-house marketing team who are tasked with continuing to attract existing and new visitors year round, while also supporting region wide events such as Cup and Show Week.

Aligning with the brand and the business

Christchurch Casino was looking for a digital agency who could partner effectively with their inhouse team to rebuild their website so it would more accurately reflect their brand and marketing activity.

The previous site had become outdated and was difficult to manage due to its age. A new site needed to be easy to update with fresh content, designed to work well with the regular promotions run by the marketing team, and most importantly, reflect a modern tourism business with international appeal.

In addition to the international market of visitors to the city, the site also needed to be effective in supporting the regular local visitors who are part of the casino's loyalty programme.

After working with the casino over the past four years, we have worked out a way to truly collaborate with their internal team on across a range of design and digital requirements.

This includes yearly promotional campaigns such as Road to Rome and Voyage to Antarctica, providing graphic design services for building banners and vehicle design wraps, website redesigns for the Casino and Sixty 6 sites, and SEO implementations such as Google Data Studio and Lucky Orange to help gain greater insights around visitors to their sites.
