Willowbank

Willowbank Wildlife Reserve is something of a Christchurch institution. An extremely popular tourist attraction and especially so for families - of locals and visitors alike, Willowbank has a special place in the hearts of many.

In addition to providing the chance for people to interact with a wide range of native and rare animal breeds closeup, Willowbank is also the location of one of the South Island's most successful kiwi breeding programmes.

Willowbank's owners approached hairyLemon to build a new website and assist with online marketing support. Over a period of 12 months, the site has gone from strength to strength and Willowbank has launched onto Facebook to develop additional ways of engaging with their visitors.

In recent months, Willowbank has repositioned to better meet the needs of a market that has changed considerably as a result of the Christchurch earthquakes. A refreshed home page design helps to reflect and support this shift to a more locally focused market.
